Transportation

Everyone books their own transportation!

There are options to get to Chamonix by Bus via London and Paris, which takes about 2 days.
The alternative is a flight from Edinburgh to Geneva and then a short bus transfer to Chamonix.

Important! As this is a trip to the EU, you NEED a passport. If you do not have one when you try to enter the EU you will most likely not be able to get in.

Accommodation

We have secured two apartments in the Résidence Le Cristal de Jade, right in the heart of Chamonix.
This means we are perfectly located to explore the mountains of the Mont-Blanc Range. The cable car going up to Aiguille de Midi is right next to the Hotel and there are dozens of other lifts in the valley that are easily accessible on foot and by public transport.
The apartments also give us access to all amenities of the Hotel which include a swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, and hammam.
To keep prices low, we decided on a self-catering accommodation, the next big supermarket is just across the road and offers everything we could need.

• Possiblity to rent a car and make daytrips to Annecy, Lyon, Turin, Mailand...

 

Tickets and Cancellation

Tickets

Tickets will be available from Monday, March 13th, 7pm.

The tickets you buy on here cover the deposit we paid for the hotel. The final price of the hotel depends on how many people are actually coming along:

• Best: Case: £300
• Worst case: £450

Buying a deposit-ticket means you want to come on the trip and places you under the obligation to pay the remaining ticket cost as laid out in the section "Remaining Ticket Cost".

Deposit-tickets are available until April 16th, 23:59pm.

Remaining Ticket Cost

The remaining price for the accommodation will be communicated with everyone who bought a deposit-ticket on Tuesday, April 18th, and the balance is due by April 30th, 23:59pm.

Cancellation

If you buy a deposit-ticket and for any reason cannot come along anymore, you can cancel the trip until April 16th, 23:59pm.
After this, a cancellation is only possible if there is someone on the waitlist willing to take your place. Otherwise you will have to pay the full ticket price everyone else is paying.
