The Trimester is already well on its way and we as a club need to think about the next year.

At our AGM we mainly need to elect the committee that will run the club next year, so that we can re-register the club with the Students' Association.
This is also the perfect opportunity for you to let us and the new committee know what you loved and what hated this year.

Schedule

6pm Meeting in the Re:Union Bar & Grill
7pm Start of the AGM in room NH208 (Second floor of the Students' Association's building, big meeting room)
8pm Drinks in Union
9pm Pub in City tba

• Gear Secretary
• Social Media Secretary
• Socials Secretary
• Climbing Leader
• Mountaineering Leader

Election Process

1. Open election of Returning Officer and their Deputy for the Election of the Mountaineering Committee 23/24
2. Candidates can:
   • let us know about their candidature beforehand (via Email to mountaineeringclub@gcustudents.co.uk)
   • announce their canditature on the evening
3. Secret Ballot
4. Returning Officer validates and announces results

 

Please email us if you want to attend the AGM but cannot do so in person. We will set up an MS Teams meeting for this purpose.

The final Agenda for the AGM will be sent out to members of the club one week before the AGM. A preliminary agenda will be sent out with the newsletter on Feb 27th.
