Interested in joining the GCU Drama Society but don't know what to expect? Well join us for the 'Come and Try Session' to see what the GCU Drama Society is all about! This event will be hosted during fresher's week and will be held in the Social Learning Space within the Students Association building!
Due to the University's current Covid-19 regulations, you will be required to obtain a ticket to be allowed entry into the 'Come and Try Session'. Don't worry - the tickets will be completely free of charge! Once the ticket has been acquired, ensure that it is saved to your phone so it can be scanned in when you arrive at the 'Come and Try Session' to confirm your presence at the event.
When we redeem your saved ticket, it should look something like this:
The ticketing procedure is to ensure that if a person is a carrier of Covid-19, then everybody who attended the event can be swiftly notified to prevent further disruption. Also, due to the covid regulations set forth by the University, we are only permitted to have a maximum of 10 attendees at the 'Come and Try' session. Thus, we have decided to split the 2 hour Drama 'Come and Try' session into 2 one hour sessions, so we can have more attendees. This is the 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM slot.
