GCU Choir

 

 

 

When:  every Wednesday from 1-2 pm (13:00-14:00). Starting Wednesday 2nd February (week 1)

 

Where: room C236 (Second floor in the Charles Oakley Building Room)

 

Who: Old and new members welcome.  ERASMUS and exchange students, existing students and staff,

 

 

 

 

 

Come and join us for the first session of 2022!

 

 

We are so happy to be back in session for the new year. We hope you have had a good break inbetween trimesters. 

 

 

 

No experience in singing is required and no auditions neccessary.

 

 

We are an all ability choir and focus on having fun and would be lucky to have you! If you have experience in singing, PERFECT!

We sing a wide range of pieces. From classical to pop, theatre to opera. There will be something for eceryone. 

 

 

 

The GCU Choir is an amazing place to meet new people.  We have people joining from all over the world and it is an easy place to make lots of new friends from different background and cultures. Friends for life have been made in the choir.

 

 

Along with our weekly rehearsals, we have social events throughout the trimester to take away some of the stress of uni life. Including dinner and drinks, bowling, quiz nights, crazy golf and karaoke nights.

 

 

And we finish the trimester with a concert which is always the highlight of our year!

 

 

 

 

The first session is completely free and if you enjoy it and want to come back it is only £5 for the ENTIRE YEAR! (one of the cheapest societies)
