The GCU Esports Society are back with our first tournament event of the year and we are even more happy with Round 2 of NUEL Realms!

For those unaware, 'Realms' events are sponsored events operated by The National University Esports League (NUEL) and Riot Games which are showcased and themed around the in-game worlds of 'League of Legends'; a massive online multiplayer battle arena game and is one of the most popular Esports titles today. The events are specifically designed for all eliglble universities who wish to take part in local in-house competition, and you better believe the Caledonian Chargers have signed on once again for its second year of running! Last year the events were a massive success for our League players and even for those who wanted to try and take part!

This time, we take round 2 in the realm of Noxus; "a powerful empire with a fearsome reputation... brutal, expansionist and threatening, yet those who look beyond its warlike exterior see an unusually inclusive society, where the strengths and talents of its people are respected and cultivated."

This event will take place within The Summoners'; our sponsored Esports bar which will provide us with the PCs to use and has never disappointed; there is always good times within here at our events. With our own in-house tournaments and goodies and prizes to be won, it is surely an event not worth missing!
