Donation Appeal

Friday 17-11-2017 - 15:06

This November till December 8th I’m running a donation appeal to aid Help the Homeless Glasgow, and re-running our Santa Sacks challenge.

The Santa Sacks challenge originated initially from the closure of a food bank in Glasgow. It will be held in friendly competition with Glasgow University's Student Associations and Strathclyde University's Union - and last year we won!

Santa Sack donations will be given to the elderly in the communities around Glasgow as research from the Trussell Trust indicate that they are less likely to make use of foodbanks. With regards to Help the Homeless Glasgow – all donations will help those impacted by homelessness in the city centre.

Even just a tin of soup, or a pair of gloves could make a huge difference to people’s lives; so please consider picking up a few extra items in your next shop, and be a part of something Bigger this Christmas.
