Description

The Fencing club is open to all students regardless of your expertise in the sport, we especially welcome beginners to come along and try one of the world’s oldest sports.

There is the opportunity to compete individually or as a team in the Scottish University Championships and in the beginner’s competition. These usually take place in March and April, so any newcomers to the sport have plenty of time to try it out and gain some competency before competing.

Training sessions take place every Friday from 6-8pm in the ARC Gym on campus, also Tuesday from 7-9pm sparring sessions, starting in late September. The sessions will also continue in Trimester 2 at the same day and time, starting from late January.
