Reduce, Reuse and Recycling

In addition to the normal recycling services available on campus, GCU Students' Association has several specialised recycling and reuse facilities that students and the GCU community can take advantage of. 

 

Used Batteries (2nd Floor Open Plan Area)


Face Masks and PPE equipment (By the Welcome Desk on the 1st Floor)


 

Tins, long-life food, unopened personal care products (e.g. body wash, deodorant, toothpaste) (donated to local food bank) (By the Welcome Desk on the 1st Floor)


Any hard plastic (e.g. used pens, chewed up pet dishes, virtually destroyed kids' toys, leaky wellies etc) - Same bin as the face masks (By the Welcome Desk on the 1st Floor)


 Clothes and household goods (Outside front entrance) 


 

 

Book exchange (Just inside the Re:Union Bar entrance) 

All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.
This membership is free for current GCU students.
