Welcome to the Student Carers' Network The group is open to any self-defining Student Carers.
Who are student carers?
We use the Carers Trust definition:
A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, a mental health problem or an addiction cannot cope without their support.
It's easy to join, as well as free! Just click the orange button above!
The Student Carers' Group is led by the Student Carers' Officer: Stacey McFadyen
Past activities of the group have included coffee sessions to build community with other carers and space for carers to practice self-care as well as advocating for the needs of carers within the university and Students' Association.
