We've got that Friday Freshers' Feeling: Part 1

Fkay

Fridays during summer means two things - beer gardens are packed (well maybe not in Glasgow), and we are offically counting down to Freshers' week!

Each Friday we are going to be chatting to one of our volunteers from last year's Freshers' team to find out about their experiences. First up we have Kayleigh....

1) Why did you get involved in Freshers' 15?

I was involved in Freshers 14 the year before, and I had a great experience working with the students association and made incrediable friends, who I still know. So when freshers 15 volunteering opened up I signed up again because I wanted to reexperience it. Its a fun packed week, which can be spent with people you havent met before and you get to know them. While you are helping out nd setting up, everything else around it and helping with activities is great fun, im enjoy bringing the SA to new students and tell them what to experience.

2) What's your favourite memory?

Last year I did loads of workshops introducing the Students' Assocaition to new students. The greatest memorry comes later when I walk into those students that recognize me and they tell me what they got involved in because I told them about it, and how much fun they have. Its great to have such an impact on peoples university lives.

3) Money/stardom no object, who would be your ideal Freshers' 16 act and why?

If money and stardom was no option, it would be Muse, they are one of my favourite bands and their preformance is always amazing and each gig i ever went to lasted with me for weeks to follow.
