Congratulations to OpSoc, who are this year's Society of the Year.

 

OpSoc is the biggest society at GCU with over 200 members, it hosted its first ever '1st Year Ice Breaker Session' at the start of term as well as several successful social events such as Halloween, Pub Quiz and Xmas nights and an end of year trip to Alton Towers.

 

Throughout the year, OpSoc have organised several optical companies to come to GCU and showcase their graduate opportunities including Boots Opticians, Specsavers, Vision Express, Optical Express.  The new OpSoc Committee has had a fresh approach to how things are run, with the main aim of benefitting ALL of its members at the forefront of its agenda.
