Over the last six months as VP SEBE I have been working to improve the IT on the Glasgow Campus for students. Working with both the School of Engineering and Built Environment and University IT we have had a number of wins for SEBE students.

Students within the Network and Security subject group are now able to access their labs from home using “Netlab”.  This win has helped reduce lab access problems for student that traditionally could only use room M705. #campaignwin

For engineering students 27 computers within the 24 Hour Computer Lab (Students' Association Building) have been upgraded to support specialist engineering software packages. This allows these students access to this specialist software 24/7, 365 days a year. #campaignwin
