Enforce Mask Mandates On Campus

It is a legal and Uni requirement that all people on campus wear masks when indoors, unless they hold an approved exemption.
In the library and other non-teaching areas, most students are not wearing masks. This makes the entire university a more unsafe place for all students and staff.
There are posters everywhere making the rules clear. Staff at the University, in all areas, must consistently require students to comply with the mandate, and require those who do not to leave the campus.
We are already 5 weeks in. It's obvious that asking isn't going to get some people to behave responsibly. It's time for the mandate to be enforced
All students at Glasgow Caledonian University are automatically members of GCU Students' Association.

It should absolutely be enforced. It's utterly bizarre and very frustrating that it hasn't been all along
Fully agree, mask wearing should be enforced on the campus. It’s shocking that mask wearing isn’t being enforced. It’s not exactly a hardship to have to wear a mask inside to protect others, especially when many students are disabled, vulnerable or have vulnerable relatives and don’t want to pass the virus onto loved ones. Many people I’ve spoken to have been put off using the library because the uni isn’t enforcing the wearing of masks as it’s making people feel unsafe.
we need to get away from masks as quickly as possible , they are not as protective as many people think , and have a more psychological function that some people need to get confident about going outdoors , each to their own , but society has to open up and get back to normality
