Radio Caley is a Student Radio for students, by students. One of our main goals is to provide a platform for Media/Journalism students in particular, to develop industry skills, but also to keep the platform open to any student with an interest in Radio. The reason that we want to be played out in the Re:Union bar is because it will massively increase the station's value in terms of metrics.

The number of listeners will substantialy increase, as well as our reach to students who may not have searched us up independently. It provides any student in the bar with insight into what we do and means that we get increased participation. The increased volume of listeners and audience means adverts are more valuable meaning we are less dependent on the Student's Association too.

These are things that the Student's Association is meant to support. Our student group has a chance to improve, let's see it through.
