Idea:

for the post graduate and master student to be tutors for possible first years, this would take some of pressure of lecturers/ learning support So undergraduates can meet with PGT's to offer a more informal/relaxed support, this could be done as a group meeting.

Implementation:

A possible database/weblink showing the availability of PGT's what their skill base is in, with the under graduates making contact via secure system.

Vetting:

Any PGT wishing to apply to be a volunteer tutor has a meeting with project leader/head of department to check their suitability.

Certification:

Possible getting certificate from student union once done X amount of hours, logged via log book.

Not sure what section this fits into took my best guess, granted a lot PGTs need time to study write coursework, dissertations etc..
