The Students' Association is involved in many events and activities over the course of the academic year, and we need your help to document them!

Events can include: Full Time Officer Elections, STAR Awards, Glasgow Taxis Cup, Black History Month celebrations, Teaching Awards and Freshers' Week, to name a few. We also need photos of the many sports clubs, societies, media groups and campaigns we support.

We use these photos on social media, on our website, in student communications, in our Student Handbook, Annual Impact Report and more. These are all brilliant opportunities to have your work published, which you can reference on your CV.

If you're interested in volunteering with us, or have any questions, please get in touch with our Design and Communications Coordinator at comms@GCUstudents.co.uk. Tell us about your experience, the volunteering opportunities you might be interested in, your availability, and remember to include examples of your work.

Ideally we would contact you before any events or activities we'd like to be covered, and you can let us know if you can commit. We may ask to have some photos back straight away if they are needed for social media. We also ask that volunteers have their own photography equipment. Any photographs used in Students' Association communications will be credited.
