GCU London Rep

Your Student Representative

The role of the GCU London Representative exists to represent the views of all students at GCU London.

The London Representative works with the Full Time Officers (based in Glasgow) to improve the overall student experience at GCU London.

I’m Dorin Barcari, the 2nd semester MBA student. I am energetic and strive to improve our life at GCU London. I am determined to contribute my time and dedication to the creation of a positive environment for study at GCU London. I have nominated myself for this amazing position at the campus and I’ll put my efforts into becoming the person that students want to see as their representative.

What do I want to achieve?

  • To increase student feedback providing a service more tailored to what students want. This will be achieved through drop-in sessions, suggestion boxes, email surveys and face-to-face contact.

  • To increase student participation and awareness of the activities we provide on campus.

  • To increase the variety of products available in the Learning Cafe.

  • To increase the number of activities outside the campus.

  • To increase the library working hours.

  • Creation of a recreational area on the roof-top.

Your London Rep, will be :

  • Be the figurehead of the campus you represent;
  • Work with the University on improving student experience;
  • Support the students on your campus;
  • Campaign on, and raise awareness of, welfare issues.

How will they do this?

The GCU London Rep works with Class Reps and students at GCU London to establish feedback on the student experience and meets with the PVC External Relations and/or PVC Learning and Teaching once a Trimester to provide your feedback.
