Liberation Groups

The Students' Association supports four Liberation Groups for B.M.E. StudentsDisabled Students, LGBT+ Students, and Women Students studying at GCU.

These groups exist to:

1. Connect students and create a community to support and empower

2. Collaborate with other Liberation & Representation groups through the Equality and Diversity network

3. Challenge discrimination and ensure that the experience of the students they represent are considered in all policies implemented by the university and in the way the Students' Association operates

4. Campaign to raise awareness and/or create change

5. Celebrate the achievements through national history months and/or days
