The Care Experience Students' Group exists to represent the interests of all students who have experienced being from a care-based background either prior to or during their studies at GCU. Joining the group is free and open to all students who self-define as having a period of care-experience in their background (e.g. foster care, formal or informal kinship care etc)

Further, the officer secures a seat in Student Voice representing Care Experienced Students' interests and is a member of the Equality and Diversity Officers Network. The Officer is supported by the Student Voice Team Leader as well as the Full Time Officer team.
