We are seeking an External Trustee to sit on our Trustee Board who has strategic thinking, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a willingness to speak your mind. We are ideally looking to appoint an External Trustee with knowledge or experience in one of the following areas:
Trustees are not expected to be experts in any area. All applications will be considered. This is for a three year term. We would particularly like an individual who also has leadership and management experience to become Vice Chair and line manage the Chief Executive.The Students' Association is also currently considering a potential building move.
A full induction and training programme will be provided. You would be expected to attend four meetings a year, an annual residential training event and some social activities. The date for the training residential is to be confirmed for 2019.
Please note that current GCU students and employees cannot apply to be a External Trustee.
