Senate Disciplinary Committee

Have you received notification that there has been an allegation made against you for breaking the Code of Student Conduct?

If the answer is yes then the Advice Centre Student Advisers can offer practical and non-judgemental advice, support and representation to help you through the disciplinary process.  We are independent of the university and are here to support you.

This support we can offer includes:

  • Listening to your side of what has happened.
  • Helping you to understand the allegations, the Code of Student Conduct and what to expect from the disciplinary process.
  • Helping you with drafting a statement in response to the allegations and gathering any relevant evidence to back up your case.
  • Supporting you throughout the process including attending formal meetings with you and briefing/debriefing before and afterwards.
  • Dealing with the outcome that is deciding in your case and advising on any grounds you may have for appeal.

Please don’t suffer and worry in silence, get in touch with the Student Advisers as soon as possible so that we can support you to acheive the best outcome possible in your circumstances.
