It was announced on STV Glasgow #LiveatFive programme that we won the University Challenge: 100 Santa Sacks Appeal 2016 against Glasgow University. We raised a HUGE 1,114 non-perishable items to give to the elderly. Thank you to all GCU students and staff that donated.

This project was organised by Woodside Community Council and led at GCU Students' Association by our Vice President, Jodie Waite. This challenge isn’t just about winning against Glasgow University but about giving back to our elderly community over the festive season, many who will be struggling to feed themselves in the run up to Christmas.
