We've got that Friday Freshers' Feeling: Part 2

Friday 27-05-2016 - 00:00

Fridays during summer means two things - beer gardens are packed (well maybe not in Glasgow), and we are offically counting down to Freshers' week!

Each Friday we are going to be chatting to one of our volunteers from last year's Freshers' team to find out about their experiences. Today we are chatting to Dalton...

1) Why did you get involved in Freshers' 15?

I got involved as a means of becoming more in tune with life at the university outside of going to classes, meeting people from other courses, getting an idea of what their aspects for the future are, the usual. Short answer is I got involved because I felt it was the best way to do that.

2) What's your favourite memory?

Favourite memory was probably the group session at Ryze, was fun seeing everyone kind of relax, act a bit ridiculous and enjoy themselves instead of being nervous.

3) Money/stardom no object, who would be your ideal Freshers' 16 act and why?

I don't really have an ideal freshers act to be honest, just something that would provide a good atmosphere, get people moving, talking, dancing. Whatever would fulfil each of those I guess.
