What does your society do?

 

Fundraisers for Teenage Cancer Trust and CLIC Sargent in memory of Allister Boyd a former GCU student.

Why did you get involved?

 

I got involved as I wanted to participate in the Kilimanjaro charity climb and also wanted to help organise the Allister Boyd Ball as it is the largest charity ball GCU host and all money raised is for such amazing causes and in memory of a truly inspirational man.
 

What is the best part about being in a society?

 

Being part of GCU and reaching students who you normally wouldnt interact with. Also getting to know others through the society. 

If you could live with one celebrity who would it be?

 

Nigella Lawson so I would get all meals cooked for me and would never have to go food shopping again!
