The Students' Association received a satisfaction score of 70% from GCU students in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2014. The NSS is annually completed by undergraduate final year students. In our first year we scored 55% and last year we scored 63% satisfaction. We are absoutely delighted with our latest score and feel this demonstrates the recent hard work we have done to better engage with students, improve our building and get more students involved in our activities.

"The Students' Association is an amazing service and gives so much support to students. it can provide skills, knowledge and great experience for people to take into a job and prepares them for out of university life."

"The Students' Association has been my best aspect of university life, it is where I joined sports and societies and met hundreds of new people. It promotes a great social life and you built so many new skills when interacting with new people."

"Being a Class Rep has allowed me to have an understanding as to why modules are developed the way they are."

The negative feedback received concentrated on the need to improve our promotion and in providing social space (Union) for students. During Summer 2014 we have immediately acted creating a new Social Learning Space on Level 0 of our Building and the Student Bistro will see a new menu for September 2014, with additional alcohol drink options.
