Day two of Fresher’s Week...

Day two of Fresher’s Week and the campus was alive with the buzz of new faces once again.  The second round of the Fresher’s Fayre was on in the Arc, and we even had Des Clarke from Capital FM drop in to take a few selfies and give away some amazing freebies.

Pink Panda did their DJ set in Bamboo last night, and those with the active band headed down to Hollywood Bowling to strike some pins.  But that was us only just getting started.  There’s so much more still to come this week, and we want to make sure you don’t miss out on anything!

So what’s on tonight?

If you’re on the active band, we’re sending you off to Airspace for some high flying fun in the trampoline park.

With 37,000 square feet of trampolines, Airspace has enough room for everyone to flip out and show their skills while having a laugh and discovering the hidden talents – or not – of all our new friends.

And if you’re a clubber, get ready to be wet!  Very wet!  Tonight is the foam party spectacular at The Garage.

One of Glasgow’s biggest clubs, The Garage always has the tunes on point and gives a great night.  Add some foam to the mix and it’s going to be insane!

But that’s not all.  We’ve got a whole lot of other stuff coming up too.  And it’s not too late to get involved.

There’s sledging at Snow Factor, a bit of adventure golf, a RollerStop disco and a trip to the Escape rooms where you’ll find yourself locked up, with the only way out being to work as a team.

Active bands – which will get you in to all of these events – have now been reduced to £30.

We’ve got Ministry of Sound DJs Kideko, Ricky Simmonds and Domenic Martin in Kokomo, a UV party in Light and DJs from Mars still to make an appearance in Campus too.

Club bands – which give free entry to these club nights – are now also down to £25 for the week.

The bands can be picked up from the reception of the Students Association, just outside the Bistro café.

And don’t forget about all the free events on campus too – check your fresher’s timetables for details.

There’s lots and lots going on and we want you to make the most of it.  It’s your first week at university, everyone is out to make friends and we’re all here to help.

Get out, get involved and have a good time.
